Getting started

About ten minutes on Stellar mainnet. You need the Freighter browser extension set to mainnet. Only fund the allocation pot with XLM you accept spending.

1. Step 1

   Connect Freighter

   Open the dashboard and connect Freighter on Stellar mainnet. Your primary wallet key stays in Freighter — Pay3 never stores it.

2. Step 2

   Link your allocation pot

   Pay3 creates a separate allocation account (the “pot”). Only funds here are available to AI sessions.

3. Step 3

   Fund with mainnet XLM

   Send a small amount of real XLM into the allocation account from Freighter (createAccount on first fund). Only put what you accept the AI spending.

4. Step 4

   Add a contact

   Save a name and Stellar G-address (for example Hurain). When the AI says “pay Hurain,” Pay3 resolves that name. Ambiguous names are rejected — never guessed.

5. Step 5

   Create an AI session

   Set duration, daily budget, per-tx max, and approval threshold. Review allowed and blocked actions, then sign with Freighter. Copy the MCP token — it is shown only once.

6. Step 6

   Connect Cursor and pay

   Follow the Cursor MCP guide, then ask Cursor to check your balance or send a small payment to a saved contact.
